Zini - 25-11-041

Female Cat aged Teen.

Zara and Zini are a bonded pair of sisters with an incredible story of resilience. They were found alone in the woods—no mom, no siblings—just two frightened kittens trying to survive among a feral colony with predators nearby. It’s likely they experienced something traumatic early on, and when they were rescued, they were terrified of everything.

Since then, their transformation has been nothing short of remarkable.

Today, Zara and Zini are playful, curious, and full of personality. They love toys (especially fishing wand toys), enjoy climbing cat trees, and are highly food motivated—treats are the fastest way to win their trust.

Zini is the more outgoing sister. She’s already hopping onto the bed for pets and cuddles and becomes more affectionate every day. Zara is a bit more independent, but she’s always nearby and will happily come running at the sound of a treat bag.

While they’re still a little shy about being picked up, they continue to gain confidence daily. With a patient, loving home, these girls will only keep blossoming.

The sisters are roughly 6 months old, have been spayed and have received all their kitten vaccines and their first rabies vaccines. Zara and Zini are fostered in Anchorage.

Zara and Zini do well with other friendly cats and would thrive in a calm home where they can continue to feel safe and secure. They share a special bond and would love to be adopted together.
