Male Cat aged Teen.
Minnow, born around August 8, 2024 was trapped, along with five siblings, as a feral kitten at about 8 weeks of age. Minnow is a lovely gray boy with very subtle gray stripes. He has taken a long time to warm up to people. He was very terrified and unable to be handled for over a month after his initial entry into foster care. It took a lot of slow work to bring Minnow around to the idea that people are friends. Now that he has had time to adjust fully to the indoor life Minnow is an awesome cat. He loves pets, has an awesome purr, is obsessed with feather toys and will chat with his foster mom when he wants attention. He likes to sleep at the end of the bed on the soft fluffy blanket. That way he is warm, comfortable and has company. And he can be first in line for the mad dash to the food bowl in the morning!
Three of Minnow’s siblings have already been adopted, but he has two brothers still in his foster home, Dove is a nearly identical gray brother, who is still a little jumpy, but has made great progress. Gator, their much more reluctant brother, is solid black and incredibly shy.
Minnow has received his kitten shots, his rabies vaccine and has been dewormed. He is also now neutered and microchipped. If you would like more information on this awesome gray boy, please complete a preadoption form or call Terri at (907) 245-1698 (this is a landline, so texts can not be received at this number.) Minnow and his brothers are fostering in Anchorage.
