Female Cat aged Young Adult.
Celestial is a medium-long-haired, young, spayed female kitty. She is mostly black with auburn tones and depending on the light, her eyes go from golden to light green. We estimate she is maybe one year old.
Celestial was a stray, possibly abandoned, and some good Samaritans contacted ACAT as the outside temperatures dropped and snow was in the forecast.
This young lady is very affectionate and friendly toward people. She likes to be picked up and held, and petted and gives strong head bumps. She will gently talk to you while overloading you with purrs.
Celestial may not have had much experience with other cats. It took her some time to adjust to the other foster cats and kittens in the home. Initially, she was also wary of the large dogs and would hiss at them. However, she has gradually become more comfortable and now moves around the house with greater ease and is more relaxed around the dogs as well. When it's bedtime she will be looking for a cozy spot near you.
