Iris is a short-haired, female, torbie. Iris was found in Spenard with her kittens earlier this summer. Her kittens were rescued, but she was left behind.
Iris came to ACAT in August and it became clear quickly, that this sweet young lady is not a feral cat at all. We estimate that Iris is about a year old. She is extremely social, loves to be help and pet and will shower you with strong purrs. She will roll on her back in your arms to receive tummy rubs and back scratches.
Iris is also very playful and will play with the kittens in the foster home. She gets along well with the adult cats and doesn't mind friendly dogs.
Iris is spayed, microchipped and we started her on vaccines. She also been dewormed. If you would like to meet this sweet, sweet girl, please submit the pre-adoption application. Her foster will contact you to schedule a meeting.
