Tempest is a fluffy, dilute tortie girl born 6/18/26, who is very affectionate! She was a bottle baby and she always wants to be right up in your face! She is a bit small for her age, but what she lacks in size she makes up for in personality! She is so spunky, and has the cutest little cat-itutude! She is fascinated with people, and wants to immediately know who you are, and what you are all about. She often has a look on her face like she is trying to figure something out. At times this gives her a resting grouch face, but at other times, her eyes just look so big as she takes it all in. She is adorable and gorgeous and will grow into a beauty. She loves galloping around the house, playing with everything and anything she can find, and we can't tell if she is cat with part bunny or part monkey! She is so much fun!
Tempest came into foster care after her mom rejected her and her siblings at birth. Her mom was way too young to know how to care for kittens. So she came to us and was bottle fed by one of our amazing baby fosters. When she came to finishing school, there was another kitten her age, Jackie, who she quickly became buddies with. While she is super friendly with humans, Jackie is a bit timid at first. She helped her see that people are wonderful and the two play and snuggle together all the time. They are two little misfits that found each other and we would love for them to be adopted together, if possible.
While Tempest loves to play with Jackie, she is defensive with the older cats in the house. She doesn't quite trust them and will hiss at them if they try to play. Though she has no trouble claiming her place on her foster dad's chest when the oldest, grumpiest, biggest cat is already there. Tempest just stares her down until she gives in and leaves. So spunky!
Tempest is just the biggest cuddle bug and she has the best purr. If you are looking for a kitten that wants to play, explore and then just be on top of you snuggling, this is the kitten for you! And if you adopt her foster sister, Jackie as well, you will have two friends that will entertain you and give you all the love you could ask for.
Tempest has been given her initial kitten vaccinations and has been dewormed. She is unaltered and will need her rabies vaccination when she goes for spay.
