Sophia - 25-05-025

Female Cat aged Teen.

Sophia, born approximately 3/15/25, is one of a sweet litter of kittens born under a trailer in mid March. After the first six-seven weeks with their feral mom the kittens were trapped and brought in to foster care. (Their mom was spayed and returned to the care of the trailer’s owner who feeds her.) “The Golden Girls” litter consists of four white girls, Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Sophia and two tuxedo boys, Stanley and Clayton. Sophia is quite shy and does not like to be touched. This is likely to change once she gets into a quieter home. Unfortunately this has been a very busy summer and there are a large number of other foster cats in the house. She loves the other cats, but finds the people a little overwhelming. She enjoys play time and treat time, and hopefully with time and patience will warm up more to humans.

Sophia is a a very very lovely white girl with gorgeous long white fur and striking green eyes. She’s the only one in her litter who hasn’t been adopted. She will need patience and space to warm up in a new home. She needs at least one other cat in her home and people who are willing to work with her and so she doesn’t get lonely. I truly believe with time, patience and space Sophia could come around and find the part of her that enjoys affection and interaction with people. She has so much potential to be an awesome house cat.

Sophia has received all of kitten shots, been dewormed and treated for ear mites. She is also spayed, microchipped and vaccinated for rabies. For more information on Sophia please fill out our preadoption application. You can also call and ask for Terri at (907) 245-1698.
