Dove - 24-09-073

Male Cat aged Teen.

Dove, born around August 8, 2024 was trapped, along with five siblings, as a feral kitten at about 8 weeks of age. Dove is a lovely gray boy with very subtle gray stripes. He has taken a long time to warm up to people. He was very terrified and unable to be handled for over a month after his initial entry into foster care. It took a lot of slow work to bring Dove around to the idea that people are friends. While he is still somewhat easy to startle Dove has become a great cat. He has started to demand pets every morning and evening. He loves to curl up next to his foster mom and make endless biscuits in the blankets. He also likes to sleep at the end of the bed on the soft fluffy blanket with his brother Minnow. That way he is warm, comfortable and has company. He is completely obsessed with feather toys, but don’t leave them out or he will pull them apart and chew them to pieces.

Three of Dove’’s siblings have already been adopted, but he has two brothers still in his foster home, Minnow is a nearly identical gray brother while Gator, their much morre reluctant brother, is solid black and incredibly shy.

Dove has received his kitten shots, his rabies vaccine and has been dewormed. He is also now neutered and microchipped. If you would like more information on this awesome gray boy, please complete a preadoption form or call Terri at (907) 245-1698 (this is a landline, so texts can not be received at this number.) Dove and his brothers are fostering in Anchorage.
