Borealis - 24-10-011

Male Cat aged Teen.

Borealis is a neutered boy, born around July 12th, 2024. He is beautiful with his tabby markings and a face like a mountain lion or cheetah. He is a big goofball who loves to play and snuggle and especially loves to throw himself into his foster mom's lap for pets. He loves belly rubs! He has the biggest purr motor and will run it for hours if you give him the attention he wants. He is also a master biscuit maker! His best friend is his sister, Aurora, whom he adores and looks out for. They came into foster care from outside and started out really scared. He realized soon that he was safe and loved, and he blossomed. He is a happy indoor kitten now!
His first reaction with new people is to hide, so he will need someone who understands that it takes a bit of time for him to decompress and feel safe. But given the right time and attention, he will make someone the best lap kitty around. He will run away at loud noises, so younger children are not a good match. An older, respectful child who will be gentle with him would be a wonderful, because he has so much love to give. Anyone, who is looking for a cat that wants to snuggle and play and be around you all the time, will love this big, silly boy!
Borealis is ready for his forever home and would certainly love to be adopted with his sister. If not, having another cat in the house for him to be friends with would be ideal.
He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his vaccinations. He is also FeLv-FIV negative. Anyone interested in more information on this handsome guy can fill out a pre-adoption application and then contact his foster mom, Jennifer, at 818-929-6855. Borealis is in Anchorage with his sister, Aurora.
