Guillaume (ghee-yome) is a wonderful healthy 12-year-old neutered black male cat. He loves his people and loves to be sung to; he will meow back. He is presented here as Lending A Helping Paw cat, meaning he is in the care of his owner, who will make the adoption arrangements.
Guillaume has a thyroid condition, but it is well controlled with medicine. He is on medicine for anxiety as well, and does exceedingly well on it.
I am hoping to rehome him as we’re going to start a family and I’m unsure how he will react to a small baby. He can’t be around other dogs or cats, but never cared when I volunteered with cats and came home smelling like them. I honestly think he would make an amazing pet for a couple or single person, as he loves his family so much. He has been around school-age children a few times and did well. I cannot stress enough how loved this cat is. And how much I want him to go to a good home. He’s a great cat if you have emotional needs and crave companionship.
