Foster-to-Adopt Agreements

	Foster Care: The potential adopter will provide foster care in your home at the address listed in this agreement. Your foster care will be comprised of the following, as applicable to the type of pet you are fostering-to-adopt:  Provide daily wholesome food and water  Provide clean area (grassy or litter box) for elimination  Provide warm, safe place inside your home  Provide socialization and play time
	Veterinary care: If a medical need should arise and your foster needs veterinarian care, please contact your foster team lead,  Potential adopters should use MAARC approved clinics unless cleared with your foster team lead.  Keep any and all receipts and paperwork for your visit and have them emailed to info@maarcadopt.org  MAARC must approve all visits and procedures for foster pet.
	Spay/Neuter Prior to Adoption: You agree to coordinate and maintain all veterinary appointments for your foster-to-adopt animal and follow after care instructions provided by Veterinarian.
	Rehoming: Potential adopters agree to contact MAARC in the event they can no longer care for the foster-to-adopt pet. The pet in foster-to-adopt care legally belongs to MAARC until the adoption in complete. The potential adopters must give a reasonable amount of time for their team lead to coordinate retrieving the pet.
	Expenses: The potential adopter is responsible for providing the following unless other arrangements have been made:  Nutritious and age appropriate food  Clean water  Indoor housing and sleeping arrangements including crates and beds, if needed.  Toys and general enrichment
	No Liability: You are not liable to MAARC for any injuries to, illness, or disappearance of the foster-to-adopt pet(s) arising out of normal foster care, except if such injury or disappearance are caused by or arise out of gross negligence or intentional misconduct. MAARC is not liable to you for any bodily injury, property damage, or loss whatsoever to you, other persons, your pets or other person’s pets, caused by the actions, behavior or health of the foster-to-adopt animals in your care, except if such injury, damage, or loss are caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct on the part of MAARC. I agree that no claim, action, demand, suit in law, or equity will brought by me against MAARC, its officers, veterinarians or agents from all actions, suits, claims, and dema.
