Female Dog aged Adult.

Meet Rain — Your Family’s Next Best Friend!

At approximately 5 years old and 63 pounds, Rain is proof that the best things in life only get better with age! This sweet, believed-to-be Lab mix has recently weaned her litter of puppies, and now it’s finally her turn to be spoiled with all the love and attention she deserves.

If you’re looking for a wonderful family dog, Rain just might be your girl!

Great with everyone! Rain loves people and gets along wonderfully with children and dogs of all sizes. Big dogs, little dogs, kids, and grown-ups — she’s happy to be part of the family!

A well-mannered houseguest! Rain is potty trained and has outgrown the mischievous puppy stage. No jumping all over you or chewing up your belongings! She even knows commands like “sit” and “shake.” She doesn’t need to be kenneled indoors and is perfectly content snoozing on the couch or curling up on her dog bed.

Still has plenty of pep in her step! Don’t let her age fool you! Rain can outplay the resident 2-year-old dog at her foster home. She’s still got plenty of fun left in her, but she also appreciates her morning naps and cozy evenings snuggled up on the couch with her foster family.

A yard to explore would be ideal! Rain loves following her nose, so a securely fenced yard would be perfect for her to sniff, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors. She's great on a leash too!!

Rain has spent time raising her babies, and now she deserves a family who will love her for the amazing dog she is. She has so much love to give and is ready to trade motherhood for a lifetime of companionship, belly rubs, playtime, and couch cuddles!
